How to connect Google Calendar to Loro
In short
In Settings › Call notes › Calendar, click Connect next to Google Calendar, pick your account in the browser and give permission. From then on Loro reminds you a minute before each meeting with other people and a Meet, Zoom or Teams link, and the note takes its title and people. From your calendar it only reads your meetings: title, time, people and link.
Step by step
- Open Settings › Call notes. Setup also offers this, in "Notes from your calls".
- Under Calendar, click Connect next to Google Calendar (it works with Gmail or Google Workspace).
- Your browser opens: pick your Google account and give permission. If it takes you more than 5 minutes, click Connect again.
- Go back to Loro: the account says Connected.
If Google says the app isn't verified, it's because Google is still reviewing Loro's calendar permission: you can continue from the warning's advanced option.
What you get
- Your upcoming meetings, at the top of Notes.
- A notice a minute before each meeting with other people and a Meet, Zoom or Teams link, with Join and take notes.
- The note takes the meeting's title and who was there.
- People and Companies: who you met with and which company they're from, with their notes.
- Suggestions for your dictionary with the names on your calendar.
More than one account
Click Connect another and you'll see the meetings from all of them together, without repeats.
How to disconnect it
In Settings › Call notes › Calendar, click Disconnect on the account. If you remove Loro's access from your Google account, Loro tells you "Your calendar got disconnected" and you connect it again with Reconnect.
Frequently asked questions
Can Loro change my calendar?
No. It only reads your meetings: title, time, people and link. It doesn't create, change or delete anything.
Do I need the calendar to take notes?
No. Without a calendar, Loro still asks "Should I take notes on this call?" when a call starts.
Why didn't Loro remind me before a meeting?
The reminder only shows for meetings with other people and a Meet, Zoom or Teams link: a focus block, an event with no guests or a meeting with no link doesn't get one. It also doesn't show if you're already taking notes on another call, or if you turned off Remind me a minute before each meeting in Settings › Call notes.
