Loro changelog: what's new in each version
The Loro team
In short
The latest version is Loro 0.3.11, from October 27, 2026. Loro updates itself: when there's a new version, it asks you to update and it takes less than a minute; your notes, dictations and settings stay as they are. To install it: on Windows or on a Mac.
Loro 0.3.11 · October 27, 2026
- Your voice uploads while you speak: when you let go of the keys, all that's left is turning it into text. In our tests, the wait went from 2.5 to 1.6 seconds, and for a 20-second dictation, from 5.4 to 2.5. If the connection drops, Loro sends the whole recording, like before.
- Press Ctrl + Space twice and To-do comes to the front, even if it was behind other windows.
- In Dictation, each dictation shows the icon of the app where you dictated it.
- With the narrow window, move the mouse to the left edge and the menu peeks out.
Loro 0.3.10 · October 27, 2026
- Text shows up sooner: Loro opens the connection to its server as soon as you press the keys, while you speak, and sends your voice and the polish in one trip. It used to take two. You'll notice it more the farther you are from the United States.
- Numbers you dictate in words, like a phone number ("nine eight seven…"), come out as digits. Before, Loro sometimes pasted what you said without polishing it.
- Since October 27, your voice is turned into text with a new model that made far fewer mistakes in our tests with 20 real dictations. This applies to earlier versions too.
Loro 0.3.9 · October 26, 2026
- You decide which steps from a meeting go into To-do: they no longer go in on their own. When the meeting ends, the "Your next steps" box shows up below the note, with yours already checked. You can change who does it, the text or whether it's done, add or remove steps, and check someone else's to follow them. They go in when you click Add to To-do; with Not now, none do.
- If you write a date in the step ("send the contract on Friday"), the to-do picks it up. If you follow someone else's step, their name stays on the to-do ("Ana: send the proposal").
- What you change in the box is kept even if you leave the note. If adding them fails, you can try again without duplicates.
- Security updates to the components Loro is built with.
Loro 0.3.8 · October 26, 2026
- Meetings on your phone or in person: everything comes in through your computer's microphone, and Loro still tells your voice apart from everyone else's. When the meeting ends, what each person said no longer shows up as yours. To recognize you, Loro learns your voice when you dictate.
- Loro remembers voices: once a voice has a name (you give it one in "What was said" or Google Meet shows it), Loro recognizes it on its own in later meetings. It keeps only a fingerprint (numbers, never audio) on your computer. Turn it off in Settings › Call notes › Recognize voices.
- The note writes itself when the call ends, also if you click Stop: whatever is yours lands in To-do on its own.
- Press Ctrl + Space twice in a row (on a Mac, Option + Space) and Loro opens on To-do.
- In To-do, "Tell Loro from anywhere" is always on screen.
- Long to-dos can be read in full.
- If a screen fails to open, Loro no longer goes blank: you can try again.
Loro 0.3.7 · October 14, 2026
- New to-do works like Todoist's: type it on one line, and if you write a date ("tomorrow", "on Friday"), Loro highlights it and sets it on the to-do. Enter saves it. From any app with Ctrl + Space (on a Mac, Option + Space); in To-do, with the Q key.
- If you used Ctrl + Space for something else (in Excel it selects the column; in VS Code it opens autocomplete), Loro now uses it in every app: change it in Settings › Preferences › Add a to-do.
- Your to-dos are now saved to your account along with your notes, so your AI can see, add and change them over the internet, even when your computer is off. It never deletes them. Turn it off in Settings › Privacy.
- In Google Meet, Loro puts the name of who is speaking in what was said (on Windows, for people with their camera off). Turn it off in Settings › Call notes › Names of who's speaking.
- In Upcoming you can click any meeting, even one on another day, and Loro starts its note.
- If you leave a call and join again, Loro keeps going in the same note instead of starting an empty one.
- With Loro on the side, next to the ×, there's Minimize: Loro keeps listening and the small tab stays at the edge.
Loro 0.3.6 · October 13, 2026
- Loro is lighter on your computer: it barely uses anything when you're not using it, its hidden windows don't draw, and with cloud voice the on-device voice model only opens when it's needed.
- Enhance note and Write the note work with cloud summaries: you no longer need to download Loro's AI to get your notes.
- Write the note when you hang up (Settings › Call notes) now works: turn it off and the note waits until you ask for it.
- The one-minute reminder only shows for meetings with other people and a Meet, Zoom or Teams link, as Settings says.
- The Loro icon's menu shows the keys you dictate with, even if you changed them.
- On a Mac, if an update can't download, Download it from heyloro.app takes you to the Mac installer.
Loro 0.3.5 · October 13, 2026
- Setup now teaches everything Loro does: dictating, editing with your voice (try it right there, even without Pro), writing with your screen (Ctrl + Alt), saving ideas with "Loro, note", call notes, and To-do with "Loro, I need to…".
- When you dictate, Loro understands when you correct yourself: "Tuesday, no, sorry, Thursday" becomes "Thursday".
Loro 0.3.4 · October 12, 2026
- Call notes come out in the language you spoke, count people correctly and are written in seconds.
- What's being said shows up live, and Loro's note writes itself top to bottom. Resume always works.
- With two meetings at the same time, you choose which one the note is for. And a WhatsApp call no longer takes the name of a block on your calendar.
- Write with your screen (Ctrl + Alt), edit by voice (select some text and use the same keys you dictate with), and Loro learns how you write.
- If your Windows key is locked, Loro tells you, and you can change the dictation shortcut.
- Settings › Personalization: the pill, your words and how you write, in one place.
- On a Mac, the pill can sit at the top, in the notch.
- From this version on, when there's a new one, Loro asks you to update before continuing.
Loro 0.3.3 · October 8, 2026
- Loro for Mac: dictation and call notes on your Mac, with macOS 14.2 or later and an Apple chip or Intel. Hold fn and talk.
- If your calendar gets disconnected (for example, if you removed Loro's access in your Google account), Loro tells you and you reconnect it in one click. Before, it just looked empty.
- If the internet drops, your upcoming meetings stay on screen.
Loro 0.3.2 · October 7, 2026
- Edit by voice: select some text and say what to do ("make it shorter", "translate it to Spanish"). With Pro. In this version it used Ctrl + Win + Alt; since 0.3.4 it uses the same keys you dictate with.
- Loro uses what's already written where you dictate: it spells names right and continues your sentence.
- The dictionary learns: fix a name after dictating and it adds it on its own.
- Who said what: on your calls, each voice separately, with its name.
- People and Companies: who you met with and which company they're from, with their notes.
- To-do: what you agree to do on your calls, and what you tell it with "Loro, I need to…", go to your list.
- Dictate right away: the voice model downloads while you use Loro.
- Move the pill (bottom, left or right) and choose how it looks.
Loro 0.3.0 · October 7, 2026
- Loro Pro: unlimited dictation and your whole notes history. Upgrade from Settings › Plan & billing.
- Pro for teams: the same price, per person; anyone who joins the team gets Pro right away.
- A new, friendlier look: new font and icons.
- Loro opens on the right screen: Dictation if you just dictated, Notes if you have a meeting.
- A cleaner note header.
Loro 0.2.0 · October 7, 2026
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Teams: share notes with your team; your company's team shows its logo.
- Share a note with a link.
- Your notes in your account, and your AI over the internet (Claude, ChatGPT…).
- From this version on, Loro updates itself.
