Terms of service

Last updated: October 28, 2026

These terms are the rules for using Loro, the app for your computer (Windows and Mac) and your phone (iPhone and Android) that turns your voice into text, takes notes of your meetings and keeps your to-dos, and its online services (heyloro.app). Loro is a product of Califica AI Corporation, a Delaware corporation (United States); when these terms say “we”, they mean it. By using Loro, you accept them. How we take care of your data is in the privacy policy.

Your account

What's yours is yours

What you dictate, your notes, what was said in your meetings and what you write in Loro belong to you. We only use them to provide the service, as the privacy policy explains. If you share a note with your team or with a link, whoever you choose can see it.

Recording meetings

Loro listens to your calls, and on your phone to the meetings you record, to write the notes. In many places the law requires telling the other people, or asking for their permission, before recording or transcribing a conversation. Following that law is up to you: if you don't know what yours requires, always let people know when you start.

Fair use

Don't use Loro for anything illegal, to harm others or to abuse the service: for example, sending automated requests to Loro's cloud, getting around your plan's limits or reselling the service. The cloud has daily caps that a person dictating won't reach; if an account abuses it, we may limit or suspend it.

AI can make mistakes

Loro's transcripts, notes and answers are written by AI and may contain errors. Check them before using them for anything important.

Plans and payments

Loro is free, with the free plan's limits shown in the app. Loro Pro doesn't have those limits and costs USD 9.99 a month or USD 80 a year. Pro belongs to your account: it works on your computer and your phone, wherever you buy it, so there's no need to pay twice. Pro for teams costs the same for each active person on the team; an admin turns it on from the computer, and when someone joins or leaves the team the charge adjusts on its own, in proportion to the days left in the period.

On the web or on your computer you pay by card, through Stripe, on the checkout page that opens from the app; Loro doesn't keep your card details. Pro renews on its own at the end of each month or year, at the same price, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings › Plan & billing › Manage subscription: you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for and you won't be charged again. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it; if there was a mistake, write to us and we'll look into it. If a payment fails, we retry for a few days before moving you back to the free plan. If the price changes, we'll tell you before your next renewal.

On iPhone or Android, Pro is bought in the App Store or Google Play, and Apple or Google charges you through your store account; Loro doesn't see your payment method. The price you see in the store is in your country's currency and may differ slightly because of taxes or the exchange rate. The subscription renews on its own at the end of each month or year unless you cancel it before; on iPhone, at least 24 hours before the period ends, because Apple charges the renewal in those last 24 hours. You cancel it, and see when it renews, in your Apple or Google account settings: you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are decided by Apple or Google, under their own rules, and you request them from them. If the price changes, Apple or Google lets you know beforehand, as their rules require.

If you downloaded Loro from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement (EULA) also applies. If anything in it conflicts with these terms, Apple's prevails for the iPhone app.

Changes to Loro

Loro updates itself. We may add, change or remove features; if something important changes, we'll let you know in the app.

No warranties

We do our best to make Loro work well, but it is provided as is: we can't guarantee it will never fail, have no bugs or that the cloud will always be available. Without internet, Loro keeps writing on your computer.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of data, income or opportunities, from using or being unable to use Loro. In any case, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Loro in the last 12 months.

Leaving Loro

You can stop using Loro at any time and delete your account in the phone app, in Settings › “Delete my account”, or by writing to us. Deleting it cancels your Pro paid by card. If you bought it in the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there: deleting your account doesn't cancel it. We may close an account that doesn't follow these terms.

Third-party software

Loro uses open-source software. Its licenses are in the computer app, under Settings › About › Licenses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (United States), except where your country's law gives you rights that can't be waived: those still apply.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we'll say so here with the new date and, if the change is important, in the app too. For any question: arturobarrera1995@gmail.com.
