# Plans and billing: what Free and Pro include

**Free:** 2,000 words of dictation a week (they come back every Monday) and unlimited meeting notes and to-dos (you see notes from the last 30 days). **Pro:** USD 9.99 a month or USD 80 a year, with unlimited dictation, your whole notes history, edit by voice and write with your screen. You upgrade in **Settings › Plan & billing › Choose plan**, by card.

Notes older than 30 days aren't deleted: they're kept with a lock and open with Pro.

## How to upgrade to Pro

1. Open **Settings › Plan & billing**.
2. Choose **Monthly** or **Yearly** (yearly works out to USD 6.67 a month: 4 months free).
3. Click **Choose plan**. Checkout opens in your browser, with Stripe, and you pay by card.
4. Go back to Loro. If you don't see Pro yet, click **Already paid? Refresh**.

## If you run out of words

On the free plan, the pill lets you know when you're running low. If you run out, it says "You're out of words · back on Monday", with **Upgrade to Pro**. Your meeting notes keep working as usual.

## If you have a code

In **Settings › Plan & billing**, click **Have a code?**, type it and click **Use code**.

## Pro for teams

A team admin clicks **Choose for your team**. It costs the same, per person; anyone who joins the team gets Pro right away, and you only pay for active people: billing adjusts on its own. More in [Teams](https://heyloro.app/en/help/teams).

No: everyone starts on the free plan, which never expires.

### What currency do I pay in?

US dollars (USD), by card.

### Do I lose anything if I go back to the free plan?

Nothing is deleted. Notes older than 30 days stay locked until you're back on Pro.
